Introducing our 2023-2024 Executive Board!

President:

Emily Mims (any/all) is a third year studying History with minors in Women and Gender Studies and Education Studies at the University of Florida. During the Covid-19 pandemic, they started a student organization, Women in MUN, to help promote equity within Model UN through resource distribution, panel discussions, training conferences, and monthly publications. Since joining the UF team, Emily has been a vital member of the team serving as the Director of Conference Logistics (VP) and Interim President last year. This last years GatorMUN, they had the pleasure of being the Director of the Sul Sul! Sims City Council Crisis and opening opening ceremony (if only Freshman year Emily knew!). When she is not doing Model UN, they are likely doing work for Off Campus Life, playing with her cat Decorum (she knows the name is nerdy), or planning their next tattoo.
